GVN engineered springs
GVN engineered springs create a patent pending spring system which is integrated into the hanging of an insulated ceiling panel from the superstructure (steel, wood or otherwise).
The spring is designed to allow the ceiling panels to move vertically when subject to a force. When two adjacent rooms or air spaces are subject to differing room temperatures, the pressure difference between the rooms will increase with an increase in temperature change. This pressure difference will cause the panels to expand or contract vertically creating a "U" shape panel, which will regularly pull the metal sheets from the insulation hence reducing the lifetime of the panel. The spring allows vertical movement of the panel. Furthermore, the spring system allows the ceiling to be walkable as this is another vertical force which will damage the panel if not for the spring system. |
